There are many reason for csk and RR Banned from ipl
1.The ban was a result of findings by the Justice Lodha Committee, set up after a Supreme Court intervention.
2.CSK’s Gurunath Meiyappan, and RR’s Raj Kundra, were found guilty of betting on matches.
3.BCCI imposed a two-year suspension to uphold the credibility of the league.
4.The bans were effective from 2016–2017 seasons, and both teams returned in IPL 2018.
