Once you have done revisions in Preview, your corrections are saved automatically most of the time. And one sure thing is you can save in a file, just go to the File > Save or the command + S. To keep the original file in the same form, you can select the options: "File" > "Export as PDF" to save a new file that will have different content. This is helpful when you learn how to edit a PDF document on a MacBook and want to keep both the original and edited files. The saved file should always be re-checked to ensure that your changes have been made.
