During the luteal phase, which occurs after ovulation and before menstruation, many individuals experience a range of luteal phase symptom due to hormonal fluctuations, particularly in progesterone and estrogen levels. Common luteal phase symptoms include mood swings, bloating, breast tenderness, fatigue, mild cramping, and changes in appetite or sleep patterns. Some may also notice skin breakouts, water retention, or heightened emotional sensitivity.
