Before 2014, it was difficult for mobile users to access thepiratebay org. When it came to choose a BitTorrent client to launch, there weren't many alternatives, and the torrent site's whole collection appeared disjointed. Even the creator of Pirate Bay acknowledged that the website's mobile experience at the time was subpar.
As more mobile users came to the site, the mobile user experience quickly became much better. Despite these improvements, iOS users can still not access The Pirate Bay. To access the website, users of mobile and tablet devices must jailbreak their devices.
